Why You Should Join the Swedish Packaging Guild
We are a unique network for professionals and future stars in the packaging industry, each with their own specialties. The Swedish Packaging Guild, SFG, is a forum where you can exchange information and experiences on packaging-related issues. Membership is personal and career-developing; if you change jobs, your membership will follow you. A membership also benefits your employer through your increased knowledge and broader network in within the industry. The SFG has contacts with equivalent associations in other countries.
As a Member, You Will Receive:
- Access to the professional network formed by the members of the Swedish Packaging Guild. Here you can make new contacts, discuss packaging-related topics, and share knowledge.
- This is largely done through the Coffeebot Fika activity. As a new member, you will be added to the participants list, but participation is voluntary. If you do not wish to participate, just let us know and we will make the necessary changes.
- Invitations to exclusive networking events, both physical and digital, including webinars, networking activities, and field trips.
- Free or heavily discounted fees for activities organized by the SFG.
Communication Channels
- Newsletter: The newsletters are what hold our network together. They contain important updates, information about activities, and other news within the Guild. If you have a message for the entire network, we can include it in the next newsletter. We use MailChimp, so it’s important to ensure that your inbox does not filter the emails as spam.
- LinkedIn Group: Here you will find the same information as in the newsletters. It is a space where anyone can share what’s on their mind, whether it’s questions needing assistance, reflections that only another packaging professional can understand, job postings, and more.
Membership Fees
- Membership fee: 700 SEK/year, excluding VAT – consisting of a membership fee of 30 SEK and a service fee of 670 SEK (tax-deductible for companies).
- 868 SEK/year, including VAT.
- Discounted membership is available for retirees or those currently between jobs, at 50% of the regular membership fee.
