If you are awarded the scholarship, you’ll have the chance to share your results with the members of the Guild. We offer several ways for you to present your work, so you can choose the method that best suits your style:

  • Take over our Instagram and report live from your journey, especially if it involves travel.
  • Deliver a presentation with a few slides at one of our Guild meetings.
  • Write a post for our website or newsletter to reach all our members.

Who Can Apply?

This Packaging Scholarship is open to students enrolled in Swedish post-secondary packaging education and members of the Swedish Packaging Guild. Applicants should be active in the packaging industry or on their way into the field. The scholarship is also available to those who have demonstrated exceptional skills or have particularly innovative ideas related to packaging.

What Can I Apply For?

You can apply for support in various areas related to packaging, such as studies on packaging issues, or for testing and solving existing problems in the packaging industry. Over the years, the Packaging Scholarship has been awarded for a range of purposes, including fees for skill-enhancing courses, contributions for travel to trade fairs, study visits, or for developing innovations in specific packaging areas.

How Much Money Is Awarded?

The amount awarded varies each year based on the evaluation of applications. Last year, the scholarship amount was 10,000 SEK. The award is presented at the Swedish Packaging Guild’s autumn meeting.

How Long Should the Motivation Be?

Your motivation should be concise, about 5–10 sentences. The key is to clearly state what you plan to use the Packaging Scholarship funds for and why you are applying.

How Is the Payment Made?

To ensure the funds are used as intended, you must first cover the costs yourself and then submit an invoice or receipt for the amount. The Swedish Packaging Guild will then transfer the funds to the specified account.

When Is the Application Deadline?

The deadline for applications is the end of August each year.
